Buechel Lodge #896 F&AM welcomes you.

Master Tom Middleton

Buechel Lodge #896 F&AM is proud to introduce Master Tom Middleton. Serving in 2008 Tom has served the lodge in numerous ways. Brother Tom has done an outstanding job this past year as Senior Warden and with his business background should prove to be a valuable asset as Master. As Master, Brother Tom Middleton welcomes all visiting brethren and encourages visits to other lodges.

Buechel Lodge #896 F&AM History

Buechel Lodge #896 F&AM was chartered October, 20, 1920 by the Grand Lodge of Kentucky. Over the years Buechel Lodge grew and gained members from all over the Louisville area. Many were everyday men, and others were well known or prominent business men. Mr. Feganbush, for whom Feganbush Lane was named after as well as Feganbush Orchards was a longtime member. Many of the lodge brothers were World War Veterans as is the case with many lodges across the country. These are men who have made notable contributions to their communtiy by serving both God and their country.

Buechel Lodge members have always played a great role in the Grand Lodge of Kentucky and in the Scottish Rite. Past Master Arnold Wyatt, and Past Master John Moyers are both Past Grand Masters of the Grand Lodge of Kentucky. Past Grand Master John Moyers also served as Soveriegn Grand Inspector General in the Scottish Rite. Buechel has had an impressive degree team for years both in Blue Lodge and Scottish Rite in the 26th Degree. Anywhere there is an event involving Freemasonry, Buechel Lodge always shows up with an impressive turnout of our membership.
